Yes you did, and my theory is what ever works is a good thing. we make do with what we have at the moment and the horses do not know if the rope is knotted or not. lol
the end result is the same.

He is, he is much much calmer, and less angry at my other stallion. He started to relax and trust us. It is plesure to ride him, he is very good sturdy horse!

His previous owner was at my place not while ago when we had the traditional riding in my village. I was saddeling Slavko for my brother to ride him a little, and the man said I should not be around him, that he is a breeding stud and because I am a girl and small he could hurt me. I just stand there and looked at him and my lightbowl turned on. That is why he was like that when he came, "agressive", mad and distant. This man treated him like a dangerus animal. He said he was alone in his stall away from other horses. I worked my butt off to get him use to touching and smelling other horses without wanting to fight. He is a big horse, maybe it does not seem like that in pictures , but he is a bear comparing to me. It made me sad that this man thought I was not capable of handeling him, I have been around breeding stallions all my life, I learned that they are all about making a show and that they are just like any other horse. The man started to blab how Slavko was never able to go alone on rides because he would scream for other horses and drag home, I have never had that problem , so .... Slavko also had a big problem with back legs, if you touched him he would kick, I have a feeling that he was beaten on the legs because he does have a hard time giving his back legs to be cleaned and trimed.
My point is, I have worked with him a lot, and for someone to come in my home, to my stall and say that I should not be around my horse because I have no idea what a breeding stallion is , is just making me mad. I wanted to punch him in his face.

He looks so handsome and it looks like he is settled in and doing just fine now! Did he breed any of your mares this year so we will get to see babies next year from him?
I know all the horses (as well as your bf and parents) are glad you are home!

He's so beautiful! And so is his rider. Was he spooking in that third picture or were you giving him a hug?
