Remember the car port that I used for a pig pen? Well this is what it's becoming. We are using the rescued tin and wood from the old barn. The smaller side of it is going to be the chicken coop. The other side will still be used for pigs. The door section is where we store the feed.
Back of the car port/ chicken side The opening has chicken wire on it
The inside front of chicken coop
The road side so far. We still have that side to finish and the other 2 sides. It will be a little red barn when we are finished with it.
I'll get more pics as we go along..

Well we are almost finished with the outside of the Lil Red Barn. We would have been. Had 2 more pieces of tin to cut for the corners and the last cutting disc we had broke! >:(So now we have to get another one. But over all it's done. We put some 2x4's in the lower part of the pig side so they won't rub on the wire anymore. So here are pics from today. WE still have to build chicken boxes and add a few perches to the chicken side. Chicken pen looking from the pig side. looking in the door. Where the stock tank and feed cans will be. Pig pen side. Still going to put plywood up later on. Front side. We will re do the door Side facing the house Road side. You can see the piece that we still need to do on the corner House side still need to so the top section with screen Around the house areas looking from the barn Back field sites Our next project once we clean up the old barn will be turning the well house into a 10x10 so we can easily get to pump and part for the pool supplies. Lip Your too funny. Good thing about the pig pen side is that it's 9x12 so if I have a injured/sick horse. It's big enough to use as a stall. I won't be getting any pigs till about July or so. We still have a few things that we want to do with it. When ever Lint is home long enough We will run an electric line out to it for water heaters and a light in it. We can do all that ourselves. Of course Tony & I get the worst part of it as in digging the line across the yard for it. But it will be a lot easier this winter. The chicks are almost big enough to move out there. Just waiting for the weather to stay at a steady warm temps. I have gotten a few strawberries from my planter too!! Garden is doing good so far. We still have to plant seeds. Next weekend I have to deal with Ashley's graduation party. Then get ready for our trip out west...

Good thing that you make everything useful. Its always good to have versitaile space to reuse it if needed. I hope you manage to get everything in time but I already get the idea of a perfecionist person you are. So no worries about you :-)

Well we haven't done to much more. With the trip to Washington and then coming home sick. Then finally finding out the gall bladder had to come out. Plus it's been 90+ degrees or raining. We just have enough time to cut the grass. With me being down poor Tony can't keep up with it all. Maybe buy the time I get back from MD. If I go because I'm still having issues. We will get back to catching up. The weeds are taking over around the house and the poor garden has caught hell. I'll have to do some serious weed spraying as soon as I get an ok to lift again. Always something...
