Anyone recommend a decent hotel in manhattan island that isnt too expensive, thanks :)
Most important things are comfy bed and location:)

I used to travel to New York a few times a year for business. We stayed at the Metropolitan - in walking distance from Times Square - a bit further to Grand Central but doable - and cabs were pretty easy to get in that location. I believe that it has changed names since I was there last in 2010 but it was an older hotel but clean.
