I was Mr.Snowpony on the other forum but MustangSavvy is more appropriate for me.  was my old horse I leased before I bought Bilbo. I am a 21 yo college student majoring in Anthropology with possibly a double major in political science. I have ridden all my life. We just moved to Washington in September from Colorado.  I love it so far. I love photography and take a ridiculous amount of photos. Bilbo is a 14 yo Mustang gelding who was rounded up in Wyoming. I have owned him for a year and eightish months, he is quite a difficult pony but I love him.   |

Welcome! I was NorthernHorseGirl on HT. I suck at coming up with names. Bilbo is adorable! When I was a kid before I got my first horse I used to draw horses all the time. For some reason I often coloured them so that they had the white chest that Bilbo has. It wasn't until I was older that I realized that almost no horse has that but he does! I love it!

So, you own a Palomino Paint Mustang...adorable, lovely and very pretty {or is it handsome?}.
Love the fact you are taking the time to give a home to a "project"....just perfect!!
Share away and enjoy this place...we are a adult atmosphere where respect is given and is shown between all and no one criticizes a comment made....we all bring something special to this place making it a well-rounded place of friends enjoying their "horse habit"!!
As adults we discuss and share.....and learn from each other, or I know I sure do!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! Bilbo is a gelding and is actually just shaved. He went through a fence in October and got pretty banged up. Now he is clipped though for the winter.  Normal:  He is a palomino roan so his color is always changing. |

A horse of many colors. if you take chalk and baling twine to draw the line of the trace clip you can cut an even line. we used to take the horses to winter shows and the judges would mark us down for uneven clipping. so i learned how to get the line with out guessing. oh and it also helps if the horse co operates. |

Many, many colors! Oh, that is a good idea. I used tape but but it would not stay on. I went back the next day though and cleaned it up a bit so it looks better.
