I love my mother dearly and will bite my tongue constantly. I love that she has never been one to yell, she truly believes in using her "indoor voice" , but when I'm in a different room, raising the volume just a little would be nice! Waiting until I'm walking out the door, to do chores, to start a conversation, and yes she knows I'm headed out with my hands full.

oh i have more! people that park in handicap parking spaces , when a regular parking spot is ten feet away wag finger THEN they run into Subway, or get cigs . all of this causing us to have to park our wheelchair van waaayyyy out in the parking lot (which is alright) so no one parks right next to us, but they ALWAYS do ,,, or you go to the vets office, and its "let your child run free day" alll over the waiting area, kid - "can i pet your dog?" me - "no, he is scared" kid - "why?" me, "because he is here" kid, "why?" me, "your mom is calling you" kid (picking his butt) "huh?" (dog growls at kid) me (gesturing) "go away" kid, "mom, this lady is being mean to me!!" my vet "ruth, you can come in room # 3" bless her smileys-hearts-532620 heart!! i will stop, for now ... smileys-summer-446831

I'm probably pretty lucky with my vet office, considering how small the waiting room is. My worst issue was the idiot that let her little dog stick his face against the door of my cat carrier. Like the poor cat wasn't stressed enough already!

I used to have really large rotties. and the one female Meghan who was 120lbs was real sick and her head was on my lap. and i could never trust her with either people or with other dogs. . the waiting room was empty and i was in the far corner all alone with her. out comes this loud lady with a unruly dog at the end of the leash. just tugging away. she says "could my dog play with your dog"? i looked at tammy at the recp desk and said. "do you want my dog to eat your f333ing dog for lunch ? " tammy left the room laughing and the lady just huffed. those are the types of people that really annoy me. lol now i just laugh at it and walk away. oh and meghan had pyrometria and had to have emergency surgery, smileys-dogs-171634

Poor girl! I take it her surgery went well? That is another place those retractable leashes are a joke. Always being used by people who never even attempt to train their dogs.

My momma taught me to put the butter on a butter dish with its own butter knife. Then you show folks that you slice a pat of butter and put it on the plate especially there for bread or rolls and butter. Sure it makes for more plates and stuff, but you don't have to throw away butter because folks are using their spitty dinner knives instead ISH!!! LOL
Here's another one; when your boss makes a crack and you aren't completely sure if its his sense of humor or its passive aggressive. The thing I did was write a note to him saying that I was following up on something, but I abbreviated it f/u. He'd never seen that before. Never even occurred to me
Management is FINALLY going to shampoo my the carpet in my apartment. But they're going to do the upstairs too, which is a hassle. I sleep on a futon so I have to roll it up. I suppose I'll have to carry it downstairs to my teeny 6.5ft x 7 ft kitchen where I have what little furniture I have all pushed up to the wall. Good thing I'm not all moved in yet.

You find out a filly, you watched being born from a mare you rescued, may now be in trouble. In a state on the other side of the country. All you can do is reach out to people you don't even know and wait.
