It was our first foal. With three years she began to develop growths in the nose, which turned out to be a benign tumor for which veterinarians said they should not be touched because it could damage the sinuses and make breathing difficulties. At first it was a shock, but we all quickly accepted it and move on. Initially people were looking in her like she was an alien, when she was harnessed in the carriage or taken to riding, but now everyone knows who she is and she is unique. She is very good at driving carriages and won more then 10 first places in driving competitions in less then 2 years. Me on her after she won driving competition. image sharingupload picturesBefore the tumor image hosting gifimages hostingimage

Perfect...she is marked as a individual and remembered as her, never to be confused with another.
She is very pretty...tumor or not!
I think it a kiss from above, a love knot!!

Thank you, that is exactly how I see it as a gift, not as a flaw.

She's a real beauty with or without it. I asked on another thread what it was before I saw this, sorry. What's the prognosis for it? Will it get bigger or smaller? What would happen if she ever bumped it? With the noseband it's hardly noticable.

It has not get bigger for over a year now.We have been told to keep an eye on it. It is very hard like a bone, I have tuched it, squeez it, she does not feel any kind of a pain.

She is stunning to look at and with her willingness to learn and win, is absolutely irreplaceable. No one notices the bump when looking at such a lovely horse. perhaps just lower the nose ban one hole so it does not come into contact with the tumor. and do the same for her partner so they are identical. or a nose band cover made of sheepskin .

Like everyone else said, she is beautiful regardless of the tumor! I hope it doesn't cause any problems in the future

Nice horse. smileys-flowers-548267Hey pretty is as pretty does. Even with the tumor she is a beautiful animal. applauseSo she's turning unicorn and at least her nose band won't slide up.. She makes up for her one flaw. apple

I agree with all the rest, she is beautiful just the way she is! God made us all unique, her uniqueness is just more noticeable on the outside.

i think rather than a rhino, maybe she is a real, true unicorn with her horn just a little misplaced

Agreed! I wouldn't call her a rhino, I'd definitely call her a unicorn! She's lovely.
