Well,..., I ended up just staying, and riding, at home on Sunday I hadn't had the chance to really ride Zippy in several weeks, and Sunday was particularly beautiful, and in the 50's. I will go visit Castle Farms another day, once the weather is warmer, and the days are longer. At least I've introduced myself by way of email, so I won't feel uncomfortable stopping over, or calling.
Zippy did REALLY well on Sunday, so I feel that my day of riding was quite successful, and enjoyable. I don't often talk about Zippy, as he is, pretty much, the total opposite of Red in every way. He has not been an 'easy project',.., I have had to literally start him over from groundwork on up. He is finally learning how to be relaxed at the WTC, and we are finally developing a 'working' relationship where he doesn't fight me, bolt, or tense up and jig non stop.
I feel like we are making PROGRESS, and honestly, it has been hard earned with my Zippy. I was able to ride yesterday and today, and both days went very smoothly,..,
PROGRESS, YAY!! cool

That is great news to be able to ride two days in a row and make progress . as for the training barn, they will be there a long time so when you are ready just saunter on over and perhaps take a clinic or two and post it on here. and horses are different and need different types of training, and if you feel he needs time than he gets it.

So glad to hear you had two great rides with Zippy. I hope we get to hear more about him as the weather gets better.
