What are those blue pots.? water for the horses. and why are they near the posts. other than that the facility looks well taken care of for a cattle renovation. and the horses look good. and that tiny girl going to ride that BIG horse. lol sooo cute. and good for you and peaches. you both need to have some form of relationship other than just looking at each other . she will learn and you will learn to be with her as you intended. after all it is therapy for mind, body and soul .

Those blue pots are automatic waterers with floaties in them to help keep the water cleaner and perhaps keep the water warmer in winter? Our automatic waterers don't have the floaties but since Peaches is doing well I guess she's figured it out.
I got to fill up my tack closet today. There are three stands for saddles but I can't lift up my saddles to the tallest one so I put the blankets on that one. The lowest one fell off the wall! So I am sending a note for them to fix it. There are four horse shoes on the wall for headstalls etc and a shelf, so it is plenty big for all of our stuff.
Today was really windy and Peaches was acting like a butt, so we went into the indoor and played a "picking up one foot without moving away" game. Pissed her right off LOL but she finally did it and we quit. I may be looking too much into it but when she moved the one foot without moving away and I praised her instead of correcting her I detected a bit of surprise on her face. Well, probably over thinking it but it was a perfect time to quit, usually don't get a clear cut stopping point like that so I was happy to take it.
Tuesday through Thursday I'll be at a training so I won't get to see her at all. A farrier is coming down on Friday and Lois the BO said she'd handle Peachie for me. This will be the first time Peachie won't be drugged for the farrier. Gerald always insisted upon it. Please cross your fingers she is a good girl. I've worked so hard on her feetie work ethic, I hope it works out.
And to hijack my own thread, I'll get pictures next weekend, Gerald bought two more cows, black Angus, Georgette and Queenie. Georgette is taking treats out of our hands already. In fact, I bent over to pick up a treat Patty dropped and Georgette licked me right across the eye! :-)
